my name is alisa zusin

i am a native New Yorker located in Brooklyn and Long Island. I am the first generation of born and raised American in my family. My family is Uzbek, and you can find ties to my culture in (almost) all my work! I am the founder and creator of Generational Canvas, a non-profit organization for teens all over New York City to be able to earn service hours making art. Teens come into nursing homes to paint portraits of the local elderly, creating bridges between generations through the best form of communication- ART!  I go to Fiorello H. Laguardia Highschool, graduate class of 2025. My work is primarily in large scale, varying different mediums such as clay and paints.
